My work « Tistu » was inspired by my favorite tale of Maurice Druon. This story is about a little boy named Titsu whose fingers are magic. With a single movement of his hands he is able to raise flowers and plants, which had existed before only in his imagination. I tried to describe this process of floral growth and emergence through the medium of music. The coda of the work is Titsu’s rise to the heavens as he was in fact an angel.
