Biography

Aldo Dotto was born in Pisa in 1988. 
He obtained the Diplom  (mark 10/10 with honour ) at the Conservatory 'L. Boccherini' in Lucca when he was nineteen yers old; in 2011 he got the Diplom at the Special Course of the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole with M° Andrea Lucchesini.  At the moment he attends the Virtuosity Course of the International Academie de Coimbra with M° Aquiles Delle Vigne and the Master Diplom with M° Carlo Palese at the conservatory ' L. Boccherini' in Lucca.

He attended masterclass with M° Andrej Jasinski, M° Konstantin Bogino, and has been also student of M° Anna Gorecka at the Szymanowski Music Academy in Katowice.

He obtained prizes in national and international piano competitions . He won the first prize at the piano competition 'Città di Massa' and at the competition 'Città di San Giovanni Teatino' (2011) and the second prize in 'Roma2009' international piano competition.

In 2012 he performed Chopin Piano Concerto n.1 with Orchestra 'Alfredo Catalani' directed by M° Mauro Fabbri in Lucca .

He has played several solo recitals and chamber music concerts in Italy, Portugal,  Austria ,Spain, France and Poland.

He played in important theaters and concert hall . Some of them : 
  • Roma - Teatro Marcello , Villa Torlonia  ( 2010,2011 - Festival delle Nazioni) and Accademia d'Egitto
  • Salzburg - Wiener Saal of the Mozarteum  ( 2011 - 2012 - Akademie-Konzert Mozarteum )
  • Lucca - Teatro del Giglio, Palazzo Ducale and Teatro S.Girolamo  ;
  • Venezia - Teatro La Fenice  ( 2008 - Premio Venezia )
  • Valence (France) - Auditorium of the Music Conservatory
  • Palma di Mallorca - Sala Mozart of the Concert hall
  • Coimbra ( Portugal ) - Auditorium of the Conservatory of Music( 2011 - Associaçao Antonio Fragoso ) and Teatro de Gil Vicente  ( Debussy cycle 2012 )
  • Porto -  Auditorio Museum Soares dos Reis  ( Debussy cycle 2012 )
  • Lisboa -  Teatro Sao Carlo (Debussy cycle 2012) and Palacio Foz

He studied also Composition with M° Pietro Rigacci.
