BlogLocated in London, Whitechapel recently announced the appointment of
Lydia Yee as chief curator of the gallery. Since 2007, Lydia Yee has
been in the Barbican Art Gallery in the related photo to painting
Henri Matisse
Alfred Sisley
Pablo Picasso
Rembrandt exhibition
planning work, such as (Bauhaus: Art as Life) and (Ron Arad: Restless)
etc..
After that she was appointed as the Whitechapel Gallery chief curator,
Lydia Yee excitedly said: "very honored to join the white church team,
this is as a curator Supreme honor. The Whitechapel Gallery with its
diversified forms of exhibition presents many contemporary and modern
art show, which won the praise of many. I very much look forward to in
the audience and artist, and his colleagues in the white church, and
jointly promote the development of white church."
The Whitechapel Gallery Curator Iwona Blazwick said: "warmly welcome
Lydia Yee to join the white church team, she has an incredible ability
and excellent curator curatorial style, and this is the white church
needs, we will work together and progress together, hand in hand
altogether white church better tomorrow."
It is reported that the Lydia Yee service time will be in 2015 February.
