Kamal Ahmadli

Kamal Rustem oglu Ahmadli was born in Nakhchivan in 1948. He got his primary education on tar profession in Nakhchivan Music School for Children. He got his secondary music education from education from Music Technical School by name A.Zeynalli in Baki. He mastered the subjects as polyphony, harmony, analyzes etc. and acquainted with the world music while he studied in technical school. He learned secrets of Mugam art from connoisseur of Mugam art? Ahmad Bakixanov. Just these years his interest rose towards the Mugam art.  His first creative work is play and preludes that he had written for piano. He finished musical sector of tar class of Musical Technical School by name Asif Zeynalli and get his appointment to Ordubad Music School. K.Rustamoglu organized National Musical Orchestra in music school. This is the first National Musical Orchestra of Ordubad. Concerts of these collectives had been shown in Nakhchivan State Television repeatedly and they had many exemplary performances the in many concert halls Just this year his interest towards composer raised and he wrote some music for orchestra. He entered national music sector of Azerbaijan State Conservatory by name Uzeyir Hadjibayov after the working 2 years in Ordubad, one year in Nakhchivan. But his great interest towards the composer involves him to continue his composer’s education. By mastering secrets of composer’s in the class of Great composer of our republics, Professor Xayyam Mirzazade, and in the same time by learning classical and modern works of world music coryphaeus he defined his own creative style. Kamal Rustamoglugain to perfect his own handwriting. His “Prelud and Phugas”, “Variyasiya”, “Sonata” for tar, “Kvartet” for stringed instrument form the fist period of his professional activities. In many concerts that were held in Conservatory his performance won the sympathy of audience. Symphonic poem “Cavid” which he had written for Great Symphonic Orchestra is considered as his most perfect and successful work. Composer tried to show difficult life of Huseyn J

Javid by using national music elements, mugam intonations. He enriched composition symphonic character of composition by using national music elements, mugam intonations. It is by chance that, this composition was played Symphonic Orchestra of Krim State Philharmonic under the control of Phedoseyevich Gulyaniski and included repertoire of this orchestra. Kamal Ahmadli in his creative works mainly applied to poems written by Nakhchivanian poets.

From the beginning of this years,

He composed “Qizlar Bulagi” for the poem written by M.Nasirli, “Qosa

Cinar” for the poem written by H.Valeh, “Saclarima qar da yagdi”, “Gozlerima baxan zaman”  for the poems written by Yaqub Shirinoglu,

“Azadlig Turkusu” “Sevdan” music’s poems were written by composer. and

Kamal Ahmadov, deeply acquainted with National Musical Instrumental Orchestra composed orchestra music.

“Jengi”, ”Suita”, “Nkahchivan Eksizs” distinguish themselves for orijinality.

“Rekviem” was devoted to martyrs that lost their lives for the freedom of Azerbaijan

It is not chance that this composition was shown under the name “Martyrs” symphony in Nakhchivan State Television.

Kamal Ahmadli has great role in establishment and formation National Musical Instruments Orchestra of Nakhchivan State Philharmonic from 1985 to 1997.Under his control this orchestra gave many successful concerts   in Baki, Sumgait and other cities.

Creative works of composer does not get limited with his composition for national musical instruments orchestra.

He applied to vocal, instrumental and symphonic compositions and  composed Fuga for mixed chorus, “A Kapellar” on the basis of ashug music, “Concert” for symphonic orchestra and piano and  “Symphony” for camera orchestra and etc.

Composer composed music for some plays. Composer’s “Symphony” in three parts whish he composed for camera music, was played by Istanbul-Borusan orchestra and was included to constant repertoire of orchestra.  

So he composed music on  J.Mammadquluzade “Mad gathering”, “Enlived person” by M.Pashayev “Ferhad and Shirin” by Samed Vurgun.

Kamal Ahmadli, member of Former SSR Composers’ Union today is the responsible secretor of Azerbaijan Composer’s Union Nakhchivan AR Organization and continues his pedagogical activity in Nakhchivan State University
