You see it happen with celebrities – they are wearing a bikini that they perceive as cute to only be ridiculed by the tabloids. And then you have those celebrities who wear bikinis to make a statement. Such an individual is Lady Gaga. If you have seen the video featuring Lady Gaga and Beyonce Knowles called “Telephone,” then you may have noticed that Gaga is wearing a bedazzled G-string bikini under a large black and white striped jacket. The purpose of this motif is to show that she is wearing a bikini in prison; a metaphor for being trapped by the telephone ringing off the hook – something we all seem to revel in within our own loves. Other celebrities will take advantage of the hot weather to show off a little cleavage. For instance, Jenni Farley of “Jersey Shore” was caught wearing a bikini top showing A LOT of cleavage with a pair of hole-ridden denim capris, and flip flops. Once US magazine caught a shot of this getup, they asked their online readers to come up with a one-line statement for the photo, which is just a way for readers to get in on the criticism. The red bikini The red bikini has been a hot little number for quite some time. Just three months after giving birth, Kourtney Kardashian posed in a little red bikini on the cover of Life &Style Magazine. Gwen Stefani is also known to wear a little red bikini when vacationing with her hubby. Her style is the red string bikini with a gray pleated skirt cover-up. The string bikini seems to be a popular style for DeAnna pappas as well. Even Octomom, Nadya Suleman, posed for the cover of Star Magazine in a halter style red bikini. Other Styles Other styles are being worn by the stars. Simply check out your latest tabloid and you will see pictures of celebrities hanging out on the beach, wearing animal prints, bikinis that simply don’t match, and those with only one strap. Single strapped bikinis are becoming quite the fashion craze. And while some celebrities making the news in their bikinis are the epitome of a fashion statement, others are not so much. For instance, Jennifer Lopez can look fantastic in the right bikini, but was recently seen in a red string bikini that didn’t flatter her figure so much. Nevertheless, when you need a guide to the latest bikini styles, celebrities can be your guide to what you want…and what you don’t want.

When you desire to take a beach vacation, you want it to be the best it can be. This is because it costs money and you simply want to make sure you can truly get away from everyday life for a little while. However, everyone has different tastes in beaches, which is why it is good to know what is available. There are quality beaches all around the world, but you have to like what the beach of your choice is offering. Here are some of the best beach scenes in the world for you to consider: Kauai, Hawaii – Kauai has some of the most breathtaking beaches in the world. These beaches are for those who love beauty. The beaches are clean and, in most cases, not extremely crowded. These beaches are not like your coastal beaches with vendors at every turn. These are quiet beaches. Aruba – The island may be small, but the beaches are amazing. You will see cactus growing in the tropics, which is something that is unusual. You get the feeling that you are on a fantasy island due to the large elk horn coral that is so large on the rocky north shore that it is hard to believe that anything that beautiful could be from this world. You can remain on the south shore for white sandy beaches and pristine hotels. Zanzibar – If you want to explore old fishing villages that have been standing for hundreds of years, then you can enjoy these beaches. The beaches are located toward the old areas, so you will get to see how the people live in this area. It is more or less a step back into history. You may also find that some of the best beach scenes in the world are those that are hidden. For instance, Brazil is known for beaches that you must get to by traveling trails through the forest. There are several areas around the world, such as Columbia, where you can find such beaches. Some are so secluded that you can camp out under the stars in a hammock. If you like hiking, these types of beaches may be ideal. Overall, you may find beach scenes that promote peacefulness, while others promote a party atmosphere (Daytona Beach, Florida or Panama Beach). It is entirely up to you what you choose. The important part is that there are so many beach scenes, choosing does not become an issue.

Two particularly popular cosplay magazines are being published in Japan . They are called Dengeki Layers and Cosmode. Cosmode is the most influential Cosplay magazine. MTV has created one episode for the series True Life, which is focusing on the fandom of Cosplay. And cosplayfilm.com is claiming that a new documentary should be released in 2010 that will be centered on the personal life of a small group of Cosplayers. Beginning of January 2010, this film is being made in the city of Chicago. This film is tentatively named: Cosplay, Cosplay! The manufacturers make and sell packaged costumes which can be used in Cosplay. Relatively cheap suits can be had for about eighty dollars in America., while expensive suits can go for over six hundred dollars. In addition to the manufacture of articles for the specific use of Cosplayers, fashion industry has been inspired by Cosplay in popularizing the Gothic Lolita look, based on the clothing worn by characters in popular periods.Cosplay made more influence on the Japanese advertising industry, than on the commodities market. The media increasingly looks for Cosplayers to hire as models. The really good Cosplayers are often seen as characters from fiction, in the flesh. Much in the same way as movie stars came to be identified with specific parts. ADV Films have hired Cosplayers for the  work that was previously assigned to the models of its agency. Ability of Cosplayers to re-create characters chosen, with precision and vitality, is what plays a major role in this development of situation. Also, the ability of Cosplayers to attract an existing market is influencing this trend. The burgeoning Japanese anime industry has been the home of professional cosplayers from the rise of Comiket, the Tokyo Game Show, and other such far-reaching agreements.Cosplayers famous are:* Lee Teng-hui, the president of Taiwan, he  dressed as the character Heihachi Edajima from the anime series Sakigake.* Daisuke Enomoto, who is a Japanese businessman, and who was scheduled to be the fourth non-professional to fly into space by the company Space Adventures in 2006. He wanted to dress for the trip as Char Aznable Gundam but he didn`t manage to pass the physical examinations.* Liana Kerzner, A Canadian hostess of the show “Ed's Night Party.” She is famous for sexy costumes based on characters and is often a guest at fan conventions in North America.

Cosplay is a youth subculture originating in Japan. The moniker is derived from the words “costume” and “play”, and is believed to have been first thought up in 1984 by a Japanese studio executive named Nov Takahashi. When he wrote for Japanese science fiction magazines about the impressive costumes worn by attendees at the Los Angeles World Science Fiction Convention, he gradually adopted the portmanteau term cosplay, which is used to describe the trend today. The main feature of cosplay is that participants enjoy dressing up as their favorite characters from anime, comic books, and video games. It has developed to include, particularly when adopted in the west, people dressing up as characters from popular non-Asian fantasy and science fiction movies and games, such as Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Doctor Who and World of Warcraft. As a fashion concept, cosplay has also been seen to extend towards a style of dressing up not only as established, famous characters, but as characters that the enthusiast has developed themselves. This is often a crossover into the Japanese Lolita style of dress, where girls wear a distinctive, cute style. This allows girls who like the look but do not want to fully adopt the Lolita style as street dress to enjoy the less serious “Cosplay Lolita” style at cosplay events and venues. Additional trends and sub-genres in Cosplay include “crossplay”, which involves wearing the costume of a character of the opposite sex, and participants called “dollars”, who wear full body suits and masks to play characters without their own faces on show, rather like sports mascots. Cosplay is usually something that takes place at parties, concerts, conventions and venues where likeminded people meet to show off their (often hand crafted) costumes, socialize, and photograph other enthusiasts. The most popular area for these kind of activities is the fashionable Harajuku area of Tokyo. In the district of Akihabara, a number of cosplay themed cafes have been opened during the last decade to cater to the cosplayers, and the staff all wear anime themed costumes themselves. Twice a year, hundreds of thousands of cosplayers flock to Tokyo to visit the Comiket convention and market – the largest event in the world for cosplay enthusiasts. The concept of dressing up and of taking part in role play based around popular characters also exists in the west, where cosplay style outfits are worn to attend science fiction and comic book conventions. The largest of these is held annually in San Diego.
